69/365 Sr. Cecilia

We both started school on the same day – me as a tearful four-year-old, she as a postulant teacher, with the less-scary white veil. She introduced me to embarrassment, unintentionally, when she peered into the pram Mother had brought to carry me home on a cold, cold day.

funny, my first recollection of being embarassed is with a teacher too.
