Known her eight years, we’ve been study-buddies for six, and complement one another in strange ways – even took our crisis time-outs together (different crises, same time). But when I’m panicked, she’s calm. When I’m cool, she needs chillin’. We keep one another ticking over nicely, steering straight ahead.
